Gasons

Each of the 17 Gason species draws their defensive power from a single elemental type. Although they belong to the first generation Mons, they have focused all of their energy on conserving their own species. As a result, they are weak attackers, cannot forge new descendant species, and cannot transform into higher forms.

Gasons can be strategically added to your support team to increase (or buff) the defensive stats of your Mon attackers that share the same type of element(for the duration of a battle).
