Connect your wallet on desktop

Before you create your Monseeker account, you first need to connect your address on the Ethereum blockchain to Ethermon, using a digital wallet. This will allow you to safely manage, transfer, and receive ETH, ERC-20 tokens (such as our in-game currency, $EMONT), and ERC-721 non-fungible tokens (such as your Mons).

 

Begin by clicking “Login” in the top navigation menu on our website. You will be prompted to connect your Ethereum wallet to Ethermon.io using a bridge such as Metamask (recommended) or Fortmatic. After choosing your connection method, you will be able to either create a new wallet or import an existing one.

 

Metamask

For the best gaming experience, we recommend using Metamask — a digital wallet for managing, transferring, and receiving ETH, ERC-20 tokens, and ERC-721. Metamask is available as a browser extension and provides a simple, secure way to connect your Ethereum wallet with blockchain-based apps like Ethermon. Supported browsers include Chrome, Firefox, Brave, and Edge.

 

1. To install the extension, visit Metamask’s Download page and follow the on-page directions, Once the extension is installed and enabled, you will see a mini Metamask fox logo appear in the top right of your browser.
2. To create or import your wallet, click on the Metamask logo in your browser. Once you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions, you will be prompted to either create a new wallet by entering a strong password or Import an existing account by entering its seed phrase.

 

You have now connected your wallet using Metamask!

Make sure to keep your password and seed phrase safely stored in at least one separate, secure location. It is important to NEVER share your private keys or seed phrase with anyone, as these grant full access to your funds and assets. Also, if you lose your Metamask password, seed phrase, and/or private key, no one will be able to assist you in regaining access to your account.

 

 

Fortmatic

Fortmatic is a digital wallet that also lets you connect your address on Ethereum to Ethermon.io, but without a browser extension or seed phrase.

 

To connect via Fortmatic (which will soon be rebranded “Magic”), you can sign up for an account (or login to an existing account) by entering your email address or phone number and setting a strong password. Fortmatic You can access your account directly on the Fortmatic website.
